Will adding a Parasound HCA-855 be better than my 797 amp? (1 Viewer)

My 797 is THX select certified, but I want a little more power. Will an 855A(85x5) be better sounding and more powerful than my 797's 100wpc? If worse came to wrose I guess I woudl jsut have to save for a better amp, lile 1205A or Rotel 1075, both a little more than I want to spend. So will the 855A be a noticable differnce, and an improvement in sound?

i listened to an 855 at my local dealer a year or so ago, and while not comparing it directly to the onkyo model at the time(777?), i thought it sounded better. clearer and cleaner, very smooth. you should compare the two yourself and see what you think. everyone's ears are different.
