When HDMI 1.3? (1 Viewer)

I am in desperate need of upgrading my receiver but i want the HDMI 1.3.. I tried to google it but did not get too much info on when these receivers will come out. Does anyone have any idea on how long the wait is going to be?

I would not plan to see any new recievers with HDMI 1.3 any sooner than mid 2007. Companies have just recived there test chips for designing there new recievers. Companies like Adcom and Marantz say they will not have anything out until around the last quarter of 07'. There is a rumor that Pioneer might have a reciever with HDMI 1.3 around the middle of the year. By the time they design and settle on there surround mode tweeks and product ends up on the shelf IMHO most likely the end of the year we will see some really nice gear.
