What warranty do you recommend for Toshiba 34HFX84 CRT? (1 Viewer)

I have the option to buy the above TV with 1 year P&L man warranty (and 2 yr on tube parts) included. If I buy it "refurbished", I save $260, but only get a 90 day man warranty and is not eligible for extended warranty in my state. Is the extra warranty time worth the $260? How about lifetime tech support (from Crutchfield)?

BUY New!!! Buy new and save yourself on the extended warranty. You are buying a tube TV. They will last much longer than any other type of TV. I wouldn't be too concern with the extended warranty for it.

Buy it new!!! Don't buy a "refurbished" model. The cost difference doesn't make sense.

Anyone else with an opinion? Is $260 worth the original 1yr warranty and tech support? Especially considering my last TV is 15 yrs old...Thanks for your input!
