I try and see every re-release. In the past 10 years or so I've seen:
Gone With the Wind
Godfather
Lawrence of Arabia (1989 re-release)
Willy Wonka
Wizard of Oz
Star Wars Trilogy
Beauty and the Beast
Grease
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Alien
Casablanca
Vertigo
But, there's one I was just a scant too young to see in the theaters which I have been dying to see on the BIG screen:
JAWS
And there's been a few I've skipped seeing lately because I saw them when they first came out:
Die Hard
Indy Trilogy (saw Raiders 8 times at a theater)
Back to the Future Trilogy
Apparently Pleasure Island at Disney experimented with these revivals as midnight shows, but they haven't done any in a year or so. They must not have done well.

I also have to add "HALLOWEEN" part 1 of course!
I have a story about this one. Halloween 2000 (date not a movie) the theater at Universal City Walk advertises in the paper that they're showing 'Hellraiser' and 'Halloween' at midnight shows. Woo Hoo I think! I grab my best bud and speed on down to the theater. I'd just read about a new print that was screening in L.A. at the time and was hoping this would be one of them.

Uh, no. It was friggin' 'Halloween: H20'! I don't care much for Hellraiser, but I'd already gone through all the trouble of parking (you park in the same behemoth parking garage as you do for the theme parks) so I tried that one. Wrong! It was Hellraiser: Bloodline!

Grrr! Arrrgh!

We ended up seeing Blair Witch 2.

Double Grrrr! Double Arggh!

Let's see,

1. Vertigo

2. My Darling Clementine

3. Lawrence of Arabia

4. Patton

5. The Sting

6. North By Northwest

7. Psycho

8. Citizen Kane

9. To Catch A Thief

10. Ben-Hur

The list can go on and on. I would probably frequent a place if it showed old movies all the time.

The only one that hasn't been mentioned that I would like to see on the big screen is Top Gun
