What driver for 54L cabinet? (1 Viewer)

I just cut all the wood for the Adire 54L sealed enclosure and realized that the Shiva is backordered until early March. Can anyone recommend an alternate? It looks like I could get a Stryke SAE1204 or possibly a Dayton Titanic MKIII - will either of these be an acceptable substitute?

Looks like the Titanic Mk3 would be just about perfect in that box, much more than acceptable. It'll give you a -3dB point of ~35 Hz anechoic, and ought to get really deep in-room with some nice output. Got an amp? One of these looks great, and they're on sale.

Wow - that amp's a monster! Does the titanic really need that much power? (I was just going to get a PE 250W)

It doesn't really "need" it, it'll just give more headroom and I like the features on that amp,especially the parametric eq. The 250 watter will be great also, though.

Fwiw, the 500 watt amp is what PE sells with the Titanic Mk3 kit.
