Daft Punk - TRON Legacy soundtrack

Of course, I've been listening to music, but it's been a while since I've been listening when it was also conveinient to post. I have still enjoyed checking out what others have been listening to.

The Barbarian (ELP). I really appreciate Palmer's drumming. For me, it ranks up there along with some of Phil Collins' work with Eno and much of the work of Morello, Krupa, and Rich.

Next: Fugue (ELP).

If you like Collins' work with Eno, you'd probably like his work with Brand X (Collins and Percy Jones (bassist with Brand X) played on Another Green World).

Paul,

Thanks for your thoughts on this. I don't know any of the work of Brand X, but Another Green World is one of my favorite albums. Much appreciated. :)

Moroccan Roll is a good place to start. Shades of Weather Report, though not a rip-off of it.

Little Feat - Waiting For Columbus, MoFi Gold
Suzi Quatro - If You Knew Suzi , Vinyl
Alicia Bridges - Alicia Bridges, Vinyl

The Alicia Bridges album was a huge surprise.
The only song I knew "I Love the Night Life" so I was expecting a disco album.
Not so.
A very good record, most of the songs are rock/blues in style.
Even "...Nightlife" sounds less 'disco-ey' than I remember.
Maybe they juiced up the dance aspect on the radio/single mix.

Herbie Hancock - The Imagine Project

I missed this when it came out last summer, but I am just really digging it today. Right music, right time, I guess.
