Perhaps this is a question better directed at Kino. Universal does release a small number of catalog titles, but nothing that is as deep a catalog title as what you want. I don't think that Universal has ever released one of its serials on DVD. Kino just licensed about a hundred or so catalog titles from Universal. Even if this serial is not a part of the current licensing deal, there is always the possibility that it could be a part of a future deal. I will say that it is annoying reading about the films that Universal has restored (Modern Love from 1929, the Henry Aldrich films, etc.). Here's a newsflash: not everyone has access to LA and NYC film festivals! We too would like to see some of these treasures!
