I couldn't make out a certain line in the season premiere. It was something Sean Penn said, quietly, to Elvis Costello after he has performed that song he had written. Unfortunately, the close captioning did not say what he said as all.

Any idea what he actually said?

I don't recall the exact quote, but I think it had to do with Elvis writing songs based on what Sean was saying at these meetings.

I thought the audio was horrible on this season opener. Either that, or the mumbling was just so bad to salvage.

Well, didn't notice the audio, but the guest stars were perfect, especially Harry Dean Stanton!!

It was somthing like, "Yeah, I have to go with him on that one" in reference to liking Elivs' older, angier songs.
