because of my fault by placing the mains too close to the tv, now at the corner oftv screen there's a red/green colour..is anything can i do to 'cure' this thing...:frowning: ..thank in advance

You should move the speakers away.

If you've done that, it should go away with use, and turning it on and off, or perhaps you need to degauss it manually. Most likely it will go away.

Degaussing is basically resetting the magnetic field within the set. You screwed it up by placing speakers (with magnets) too close to the monitor. Most modern TVs will automatically degauss themselves during the startup but older sets had to be taken into the repair shop and passed through a degaussing coil. Some old computer monitors actually had a button on the back that would degauss the monitor...

If it doesn't improve soon, give a repair shop a call and they'll let you know how to proceed.
