Toshiba 42H82 Calibration? (1 Viewer)

My Toshiba 42H82 will be here tommorow morning!

Couple of questions:

1. I would like to set it up and calibrate with Sound & Vision HT Tuneup DVD. Will this be sufficient, or should I go out and buy the Avia disc?

2. I will be hooking up my Panasonic RP91k via component video cables, RCA DirecTV/Ultimate TV box via S-video and regular cable TV thru a Panasonic VCR via composite video. As you can see I am using all three major video connections so to save money on cables I will be goibg directly to the TV and bypass my Denon 2802 AV receiver. This method was recommended to me to prevent signal loss as well. But the Denon will not be able to switch video sources. Won't this be a pain in the ass?

Won't this be a pain in the ass?

Not really. I have mine set up much the same way. All you have to do is: a)switch the receiver to the audio source you want and b)switch the TV to the video source you want. It really isn't that big of a hassle.

Can you expand on what you mean about " many things".

Like an ISF cal? How do I go about having one done? How much? And will there be a noticeable difference?
