To be fair, nobody truly does subwoofer correction perfectly, but Yamaha is way worse than the competition in that one aspect. They don't give enough DSP filters/processing to handle it.Seems like that should be the most critical aspect, and if they're awful at that, well, why bother?
Of course, I'm not big on relying on EQ to fix issues anyway, so...

In my room, I have all 3 subs integrated, time aligned and pre-EQ'ed with a MiniDSP 2x4HD. No matter the system (ARC, Dirac etc) the end result is still better when I handle time and phase alignment myself.
