Tift Merritt's new CD 'Tambourine' is due out on 8/24, sounds pretty good to me, but has way more production than her previous release. You can stream the whole album (lo fi) at VH1.

Personnel include: Tift Merritt (vocals); Mike Campbell, Neal Casal (guitar); Patrick Warren (celesta, chamberlin); Lance Morrison (bass instrument); Don Heffington (drums); Gary Louris, Maria McKee (background vocals).
