TT site worked fine for me just after 4PM. Though they may be getting crushed if they're experiencing high demand for Moby and other pre-orders.

Both good choices, and there is a possibility MD will sell out quickly.

That is what I was thinking. Of any title you have released recently, Moby Dick seems the most likely to sell out quickly. Though it looks like 9 to 5 is right up there with it.

Site isn't taking credit card information!

Would not work for me either. I thought I was entering the wrong CC info over and over. Like those dreams I have when I am trying to call someone and cannot dial the number. :)

I ended up going over to SAE to place my orders. But not until I wrote a couple more reviews on the TT site.

I'm thinking Criterion will release Prince of Tides since they released it on LD. They seem to be releasing some of the popular Columbia TriStar titles they had on Laserdisc like Tootsie, The Big Chill and The Fisher King.[/QUOTE

I sure hope so! I've got the Criterion Laserdisc of "The Prince of Tides" and it sure would be nice to have it on Blu-ray, esp. with the Streisand commentary. Thanks for your input!

I ordered Moby Dick, The Bounty and a blind buy on American Buffalo (for ten bucks, why not?).

Looks like the whole TT site has crashed now: "500 Internal Server Error"

Edit: Just temporary. It seems to be back now.

Edit2: It comes and goes. Must be a lot of traffic right now.

Moby Dick, Boston Strangler, I Want To Live, Pretty Poison and Gran Bollito for me. Guess Robin Williams didn't make the cut.

Included with e-mail with latest preorder information from SAE.
The following are films are discounted
Guess Who Is Coming to Diner $14.99 (Blu Ray)
American Buffalo $9.95 (Blu Ray)
The Kremlin Letter $9.95 (DVD)
Woman Obsessed $9.95 (DVD)
Violent Saturday $9.95 (DVD)

I thought the rights expired for Twilight Time to sell American Buffalo. I guess they got an extension.
