I wound up getting the four titles I almost bought at the beginning of the sale but had last minute hesitations on:
-Inferno 3D
-Tall Men
-Last Hurrah
-Whole Town’s Talking

I was given some gift card cash for my first Father’s Day and figured this was as good of a use as any for it. :D

Forgot about this and then had to deal w/ some bit of flash flooding on our ground floor, ack!

Took just a bit too long to decide on 10 titles for the $100 promo offer (plus extra 10% off) and ended up just missing I Could Go On Singing and Talk Radio -- they're not "must haves" for me though and still available at SAE (plus Talk Radio may sell cheaply on iTunes again at some point), so I may just get those another time.

And since it was actually cheaper to order 10 of those than just 8 (and I couldn't find any other eligible title I'd care to own), I ended up just getting an extra copy each of Husbands and Wives and Bananas. Did debate about paring down some more instead by passing on a couple other more marginal choices, but ultimately, just went this way instead.

I may just give those dupes away as present(s) or maybe sell them on eBay or something, if I ever get around to that...

Now here's the real kicker: After all of that, my Twilight Time order shipped with Suddenly, Last Summer apparently included. Either I must have gotten one of the very last copies, or they just haven't updated the list of items in the order.

I can't cancel my Screen Archives order, so if someone's looking for a copy I'll be willing to sell the second copy at cost.

That's fine, as long as Suddenly, Last Summer isn't one of them. :)

Apparently not; it turns out the other Adam was correct. I received a subsequent email saying my order had been updated to remove the movie and that I would receive a credit to my original payment source for the cost of the title and a portion of the shipping.

I picked up the three 1940s musicals for $21, especially since they are all 3-strip technicolor productions, and I am trying to watch as many of these as I can (I've seen 60 out of the total list of 547). Also My Gal Sal (another 3-strip), and The Tall Men.

Yes, I'm curious to see those three titles, also, since they didn't receive stellar reviews, however, as I stated earlier, $7.00/pc. was worth the risk.

And you should be very pleased with My Gal Sal. It looks sensational! Mr. Harris reviewed it positively.

I doubt it. I don't really see a correlation because, as a Twilight Time release, Birth of a Nation was always limited in quantity and would have sold out sooner or later regardless of what another studio does with a separate property.

I wonder if this has anything to do with it: The NAACP does not hold an official position on Song of the South (though Johnson admits he knows “a generation of people who hate it”), unlike D.W. Griffith’s infamous 1915 silent film The Birth of a Nation. One of the civil rights organization’s earliest campaigns involved public opposition to the film that paints the Ku Klux Klan as hood-wearing heroes. The Birth of a Nation “should be incinerated because that is a film that caused the spread of the Klan across the country,” Johnson says. “It spread its racial hatred in ways that caused violence against many people during that time period, actually for a few decades.”

I know Twilight Time's website started some time after the label Twilight Time started and that originally Screen Archives was the exclusive place to get the Twilight Time movies (excluding 3rd parties who bought and resold), but I was wondering were some titles exclusive to Screen Archives after the Twilight Time website was set up. It always seemed that Twilight Time had fewer titles and ran out of inventory ahead of Screen Archives. Not sure if that is because Screen Archive received more copies or if people who googled Twilight Time looking for the movies were directed to the Twilight Time website and so more purchases were made at the Twilight Time website. This question is related to prior to the final clearance. Prior to the final clearance, prices at the two sites were identical.

There were quite a few of the older titles that never were offered on TTM.

TT started on SAE in 2011, TTM website started July 2015 (+/-).

I don't know about general allocation of discs b/w the sites after TTM came along, but many folks seemed to default buy from TTM
instead of SAE I guess b/c of the named site. In the last couple years, it was a little cheaper to buy at TTM for US customers, but the first couple years the cost was almost identical when both used Media Mail I still find fairly big Disc Collectors who never have heard of SAE and have no idea that TT discs even existed -- not on Amazon, don't exist.

I'm 100% sure the Clear cases are Viva Elite and I'm pretty sure 12mm cases with no Blu-ray logo -- 50-75 cents ea as some of the case sites. I measured 10 cases at almost exactly 4.75in/120mm. Bluray.com replacement case thread said they were 12.5 mm though, but I think that's the Double Disc sets (not that many of them). 10 12.5mm cases would be nearly 5 inches

I want to say the No-logo clear cases were unique to TT and I've not seem for sale on the common bulk case sites. They aren't raised so with a bit of solvent you could probably remove the logo if you'd like.

The Blue cases were at least two different types -- what looks to be a Viva Elite 12mm with Logo, and a hard squarer case with no manufacturer marking I think like Olive uses or used to use that most people hate

Now Twilight Time sells the clear cases again!

Thanks David for the information, and sorry it took so long to acknowledge your reply.

Who has recently had an order ship from TT?

I'm not worried about mine per se, since I know they will get to it. But I am curious as to what order number they are up to now. Their most recent estimates expected orders placed on June 1 to ship by July 7, which is today. My June 1 order is still awaiting shipment. I'm guessing that the closure for the 4th of July holiday might have pushed this back a bit.

With shipping it's like $3 per case. If I was going to replace mine, I'd just go with the normal Clear Viva Elite cases and get them for 0.70 ea from casetopia or similar. If the logo bothered me, a little GoofOff should fix it right up -- I accidentally erased some Bluray Logos with that stuff experimenting with the best way to get sticker glue off the cases,
