Sad update- the kitten that lived under my crawl space either died or was killed sometime in the last 24 hours. The unfortunate part of living alone and my occupation is I had no way to take care of it.

My one cat is fascinated by my inkjet printer. Anytime I send a print job or scan something, she comes running from anywhere in the house to see what's going on.

Our cat attacks the printer after it runs (well, attacks the paper stacks below it, but at the cat-brain level, same difference). Something about the sounds the printer makes really makes the cat want to protect us from it!

What is it about a box or a bag and cats? Paper towels from Costco come in a huge plastic bag. We put the empty bag on the floor with one end open. Our cat comes running and absolutely rams himself in the bag. He will stay there as long as we let him.
