SVS launches Prime Wireless Pro powered speakers (1 Viewer)

SVS is taking orders for the Prime Wireless Pro powered speaker pair, retailing for $899.99, and representing the company’s second generation of active speakers. Offering lots of connectivity and control options, each driver in the speakers also receives 50 watts from a 200-watt (50 watts x 4) amplifier. Discrete bi-amplification to the one-inch aluminum dome tweeters and 5.25-inch mid-bass drivers promise “massive dynamic output” and a sense that the speakers are larger than they appear.
A 24-bit/192kHz DAC controls power delivery and frequency response with “pinpoint precision” and playback is possible from all streaming services, both wirelessly and with the highest resolution. Streaming options support WiFi, Apple Airplay 2 for iPhones and iOS, and Chromecast for Android. Connection is available via Spotify Connect and Bluetooth, and DTS Play-Fi can access Amazon Music, Qobuz, iHeart, Pandora, YouTube, Sirius XM, Tidal, Pandora and Audible.
