Italian high-end legend Sonus faber has launched the next-generation wireless home audio system, Omnia, available for $1,999. With seven speakers onboard, the 490-watt, DSP-optimized player capitalizes on a number of new features including wireless connectivity with access to Apple AirPlay 2, Chromecast Built-in, Spotify Connect, TIDAL connect and Bluetooth AptX HD. The unit is also Roon Ready and can be used as a soundbar for TV audio.
Omnia benefits from “elevated-quality” Italian design and an authentic wood surface (available in walnut and graphite finishes) to complement home décor choices. There are two onboard trademarked technologies, SENSO and CRESCENDO. The former is a touch-sensitive interface for direct control of wireless connection to digital sources.
