I am in a dorm room and am wondering where the best place for my sub is. Right now it is in the corner, to the right of my TV. Is this okay?

The corner is the best place for a subwoofer. Just be sure your tv is not too close as to cause any distortion from magenitic fields unless your sub is properly shielded.

That sub should work fine in a dorm room. As for the corner placement I agree with Dan. But I wouldn't stuff it in the corner. Maybe pull it away from the 2 walls about a foot or so to keep the bass from being too muddy. Like I just suggested to someone else, you really have to play with placement to find what works best for your room.
