Hi,
I'd like to place my SVS 25-31pci at the back of the living room, but that means that I would need to run the subwoofer cable along the base boards (it's a condo, so I can't run the cable under the floor). The cable would have to be 30 feet long to make it back there. Would 30 feet of cable be a problem for performance? or otherwise? Is that too far? Could I go 40' without any problems?

I'll be using Canare cable (LV-77S).

Thanks in advance,
Ed

Even 50. While there'll be a slight signal loss due to the resistance, you're going to calibrate the system. A far greater concern is finding a spot for that sub where it'll be happy...room resonances and all that, right?

Make it as short as possible. That said, no matter how long it is (within reason,) You won't notice too much of a difference.
