Sub Out Mono/Pre to Stereo IN on Sub (1 Viewer)

My SVS sub has a stereo RCA inputs on the amp, the receiver has a sub preout that is mono/one channel.

My question is that do i just buy the mono sub cable then hook it to the left or right channel on the sub or do I need to buy a 2 to 1 adapter?

I would buy a Y splitter so that both the L&R on your sub receive the signal. On most subs (not all), hooking to the L or the R results in a volume level of 50% compared to hooking up both.
