I have a sub hooked up to a BFD. In the Snaplug site, it says that incorporating the BFD into the mix makes for a delay or Processing time...

To fix, they say make the Sub 1 more foot then your listening distance. Only prob is, on my reciever, I have now sub distance choices. Can I accomplish this with my DVD player instead?

I have my DVD player set to 0s on everything and let me AVR do the processor time.

My guess is I can just move the sub distance from 0 on the dvd player to 1, correct?

Or, is this whole correction even needed?

You DVD setting only apply if your using the 6 analog outs on it.

A lot of BFD eq'n going on out there. From all I have read, I think it is a non issue.

If you experiment with this, please indicate your results.
