Starwoids: Was it released? (1 Viewer)

This title is listed everywhere as being released on 10-23 but every web site I've been to lists it as "on order" or "ships in 4-6 weeks." Was this title delayed?

Yes. I just picked up my copy last night from Borders in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
I haven't watched it yet... I hope to be able to this evening.

I received a copy yesterday, shipped from www.indiedvd.com last week (15 October). Amazon have it on special order and DVD Empire say its release date is 23 October.

Hey, this disc is a lot of fun!! The documentary itself is pretty damn fascinating, and I'm guessing even non-SW fans would get a kick out of it.
There are several cool extra features. I haven't gotten to the commentary yet, but included is a rather entertaining (albeit brief) interview with Kevin Smith discussing various Star Wars - related questions.
I recommend it, especially for the hardcore Star Wars devotees.

I got it exclusively for the Kevin Smith footage, which was all too brief.
42 days waiting in line for the (IMHO) worst movie in the series... I found it difficult to not keep thinking these people were... nevermind. Then again, is it worse to wait in line for 42 days or watch a movie about waiting in line for 42 days?
I liked "Trekkies" better than "Starwoids".
