Stacking equipment? (1 Viewer)

At the moment I have a very light Kenwood reciever on top of my SCD-CE775. The reciever is about half the size of most recievers I've seen, maybe a bookshelf model? Anyway, it's all I have for now. I'm curious if stacking the component on top of my CD player will have any negative effects on either piece.

It shouldn't unless the receiver puts out a lot of heat.

receivers usually generate the most heat, so you *never* want to put anything on top of it. but stacking it on top of your cd player should be fine.
