Hello,
I am new to this forum, HELLO!

Sorry if I am posting this question in the wrong place.

I am having sound trouble with a Toshiba SD-V55HT DVD/VCR combo 5.1 Home Theatre System. After I have been watching tv/dvd/vhs for a while, the sound begins to flicker in and out.

Do you have any suggestions as to why this has begun happening?

I have checked wiring in the back and all seems OK.
Any suggestions on what steps I should take to resolve the problem?

It has worked fine for months, but in the last couple of weeks it has begun to act-up.

Hi Jimmy, welcome to the forum!

I don't have a SD-V55HT, so answering a couple of questions might help us help you:

1) Assuming that everything works normally when you first turn everything on, how long does it take before the sound cuts off?

2) How warm does the unit get when the sound cuts off?
