Can anyone tell me if the remote control that comes with the SONY DA4ES will control the SONY Tivo box.The reason I ask is I know it is not a learning remote so I was wondering if the booklet has a code to operate the Sony DirecTV box (SAT-T60)or even the new Hughes Tivo 2. Thanks

There are no codes. You set up the remote through a series of menus. You pick the type of component, brand, etc. No codes.

Don't worry about whether or not it can control it... even if it can, it won't do it well. The remote has too few buttons on it to be usefull for controlling anything really. There aren't even number buttons to enter a channel number.
