OMG, we are having a great time reviewing Sony's new flagship 4K HDR MiniLED TV, the XR-85X95L.
For one of our premium TV comparisons we put the 85X95L butt next to Samsung's new 2023 flagship 4K HDR MiniLED, the 85" QN95C. Here's a few pictures:

The blacks and contrasts of the Sony x95l mini led tv image are very similar to the blacks and contrasts of oled tvs?
I have a fully dedicated room with fully controlled lighting and I have had several 83" oled TV units in it for the last few years but I'm tired of the vertical banding lines and I want to make a change and try another technology like a Sony TV x95l mini led or a Samsung qn95c in 85" but I'm afraid that the blacks and contrasts are inferior to the oled and in a dark desicated room the change will be noticeable.
The blooming in these 2 mini led sony and samsung is difficult to find?
Which TV is better in contrast and black levels, Sony or Samsung?
Blacks are not pure black, which OLED TV can do, but the X95L has the deepest blacks I have ever seen on any LCD/LED TV. The X95L peak luminance is higher than OLED. The X95L has very minimal blooming, which can be more easily seen when viewing off axis, especially when viewed in a very dark room, but less blooming than most if not all other MiniLED TVs.
The screen uniformity is very good and the new retuned XR processor with the new 2023 upgrades, like XR Clear that enhances the image quality and with less of the normal up-scaling anomalies of low resolution content, like cable or DVD.
Sony's new Contrast Enhancer combined with it's excellent tone mapping accurately help the X95L to delivery picture quality with great detail with a natural depth with all SDR and all formats of HDR content.
