I've had some surgery that will require me to be in bed for the next 6 weeks. A friend of mine in Boston bought me SOCOM so that we could play and the headset will not reach my bed (from where the PS2 is).

Can I buy a USB extension cable to that the headset will reach my bed?

    Any help would be appreciated.

I have one that I got with something, so yes they do exist. I think you might get a little bit of signal degradation from the headset, though (I doubt it will matter much).

You could also get extensions for the video/audio cables and just put the PS2 closer to you.

    David,
I used a USB extension for my headset from day one with no problems to speak of. You can find plenty options online as well as the local computer supercenters.
