Hoping somebody can help me with this. Been trying for about a week playing with different settings and I’m about to give up.
TV is Panasonic 40DX600b
Bluray surround is Panasonic BTT270
Background: ive had major renovations done to the house. Had all cabling - power, satellite, HDMI buried into brickwork and plastered over.
After work was finished I realised I’d forgotten about an optical cable for the home theatre system. To my relief, I learned that the ARC function can make the optical cable redundant. Great!
Bluray and tv sound comes through the HDMI cable fine.
The problem I’m having is with the smart apps on the tv. E.g netflix. I can’t figure out how to get the sound to run via ARC? Is it possible with the built in apps, or will I have to use a 3rd party device like a fire stick?
