Just wondering if there is any info out there on one of my favorite movies this year? Does anyone know who owns it? If there will be a Special Edition? Hope to hear something
Thanks

Loved the film! I'll never look at Ben Kingsley the same way again.

FOX Searchlight distributed the film theatrically in the States, but I don't know if they also hold the home video rights. Sadly, I think it's unlikely that the eventual R1 release will be a special edition...
You know, nearly two years ago, I was thinking the exact same thing about TITUS.

Perhaps a 2 disc set might be a bit much, but I wouldn't count Fox (Fox Searchlight being their indie branch) out just yet. I haven't yet seen the film, but when you factor in the treatment TITUS got with the Oscar buzz surrounding Ben Kingsley's performance, you never know...

Well maybe Peter might let us in on any info he might have...

I agree that this could and should get the treatment Titus got, I'm praying.

We did get to see a scene from this movie(DVD) while at the L.A. Meet, Peter said it would be out early next year.

John,
Early next year sounds good to me did he mention any of the features? It sounds kind of suprising that they would show stuff from Sexy Beast, maybe it will be a big SE like Titus after all.

Never saw this flick at the movies but it sounds like my type of flick. If it has some really cool special features with a great transfer then I will pick this up sight unseen. After all I bought Titus without seeing it and it became one of my favorite movies of 1999.
