Does anyone know the DVD release date for Series 7: The Contenders? Sort of a low-budget spoof of reality TV... DVDEmpire says 10/9, DVDPlanet says 9/25, and DeepDiscountDVD says 12/18..
    Anyone have an idea?
    Thanks!
    Doug

It got pushed all the way back to December? Aw crap.
USA Films has to be the most inept distributor out there-- this film got great buzz in LA in New York, but disappeared two weeks after its release and apparently didn't even touch down anywhere between the two coasts (I'm assuming Chicago got it). And now to dump it-- nearly NINE months after its theatrical release? Jeez.
Terrific film, by the way-- great for people (like me) who are fed up with "reality" TV.

12/18 is the confirmed new date. The studio's "One Night At McCools" is still 10/9 (in fact, I have it right here), though.
I wanted to see "Series" myself, but it was here and gone after (literally) one week.

I only caught it because I was on travel in NY. I liked it, and I don't mind reality TV. Some really creative things in there.

We got it in Austin for a couple weeks but I missed it. Oh well, I can wait a little longer.
