Search for Decent Theater Speaker System (1 Viewer)

I am looking for input on speaker systems. I have not made any purchase yet. I am close though. I was considering the Bose AM10III Series, but after some reviews I am unsure. I am also looking at the Harman Kardon HKTS12. Any Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Im interested in 5.1,6.1
Also, would like to have good sound for 2-channel music

What are your room dimensions and are you looking for floor standing speakers or something smaller for stand mounting, wall mounting, etc? Also, what components do you need to buy within your $1,000 budget? I am guessing a receiver and speakers? Do you already own a DVD player?

I'm sure if you provide the above info, you'll get some good advice from the membership here.

i just got the fluance htb system and am very happy with it.http://www.fluance.com/fluanceavhtb.html

I have them in a room that is about 15 by 25 ft and a denon 2802 receiver. and no sub as of yet.

It is a bit over your price range, but for under $4k, you can have HT sound that will be enough to make grown men cry.
