My Z1's image has faint "lines" running throught it for the first 20 minutes it is on. Once they "disappear", the picture is amazing. This always happens.

Does the Z1 just need warm-up time, or are my eyes adjusting?

Thanks

This sounds like the "scan line artifact" reported on the Panasonic PT-L300. The Panny has a service menu adjustment (the so-called "flicker tweak") which is supposed to reduce or completely solve the problem. My Panasonic PT-L200 doesn't have the problem so I have not had to do the tweak. For the Panny 300 it is recommended to let the PJ warm up for ~20 minutes before adjusting. I suppose you could turn on your PJ and go away for 20 minutes before beginning to watch it, and that way you would know if it has warmed up or if your eyes are doing the adjusting.
