Does anyone know anything about this DVD player? I am thinking about getting it from Bestbuy. Its fairly cheap and I don't need progressive scan.

I usually recommend that people stay away from Samsung players. They come with poor quality disc drives which will sometimes experience hesitations/jerkiness, as if the disc was scratched or dirty. But when you look at the disc, it is basically fine.

What about the JVC 300 or Toshiba sd-1800 in this price range?
