Does anyone out there have the Samsung DVD-V1000 DVD/VCR combo?
I am unable to play my own video CD's on my unit. When I put one in the unit, it intermittently spins the CD up and down without ever playing it. This occurs with video CD's that I have created with Roxio's Easy CD creator 5 and with MGI Videowave 5, both using a Plextor drive. The video CD's appear to be correctly written, as I can play them in my computer DVD-ROM drive. I also know it is not a compatibility problem with the DVD player and the CD-R media, as I can play MP3's burned onto the exact same media on the Samsung. Unfortunately, I do not have any commercially produced video CD's to test on my unit.
