which would make for better surround speakers, and why?


these are Polk speakers, by the way...possibly being paired with RTi70s, a CSi30, and a sub


also - music listneing will be the primary function of this system

FX's will provide better diffusion(sp?) of the surround channels which means a less localized sound than a direct radiating speaker (Re: R38i) Either speaker will match perfectly to the other speakers you listed, but I would recommend the the larger CSi40. It's a much better match to the Rti70, especially if you are going to be using this setup in a larger room.
