Not if it's a new commentary track, which I understand it is.

Well details of the new editon are up at the R2 project, including a look at the cover. DTS soundtrack as well.
Looks like it is the theatrical cut, but the BBFC cuts must have been waived if there are claiming it is uncut.
The extras certainly look interesting although the absence of interviews with one Ewan MacGregor in the retrospective is conspicuous.

or is it a UK exclusive (like the commentary track
for The WickerMan is a UK exclusive)?
Will the wait be for years and I should just order

I dont know if it is coming out in the US soon, but I doubt it. A large portion of the bonus material is directly related to the promotion, reception and succcess of the film in the UK.

I hear it is being released in Australia though so who knows

I can definitely recommend it, and fortunately it has been released uncut.
