Here are the DVD's I'm definitely looking foward to this fall:

Spiderman
Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones
Monsters, Inc.
Beauty and the Beast

As for early 2003, I'm definitely looking foward to:

Lilo & Stitch (2-disc Collector's Edition)

How about 5 box sets:

Sopranos 3
Star Trek TNG 4
Band of Brothers
Ken Burns' Civil War
Back to the Future

and five movies:

Spiderman
Beauty and the Beast
LOTR Extended
Pulp Fiction:SE
ET

.. and that's just the tip of the iceberg. It's going to get EXPENSIVE.

FotR: Gift Set and Minority Report are my only must haves.

Other than that, A Beautiful Mind, Panic Room and Monsters Inc should be worth a look.

Do you know for a fact you'll have to wait that long? Rumors as long ago as May put this around a mid-December 2002 release date. Of course, with the success of the film known afterward, the release may have been pushed back to "spiff the disc up". For instance, yours is the first suggestion I've seen of a 2-disc set. But, as far as I know, this hasn't been announced by Disney yet in any way, shape, or form! :)
As for that crack about the AotC P&S edition being on Nick's most-wanted list...

Well, LOTR Extended Edition, first off. After that, probably Disney's Beauty and the Beast and South Park: The Complete First Season.

These are all november 12th releases as far as I know. I am going to be broke that day :) (i can't be 100% on the RoF DVD, but I heard Nov. 12 somewhere)
I will buy Spiderman but I'm not really anticipating it THAT much.
