I recently got a polk set up:

rti 8's in the front
csi 5 center channel
fxi 3's for surround
rti 4's for rear
velodyne sub

I love it, but the fxi's dont sound too involved. Anybody that owns the fxi's that can give some advice on how to maximize them. The fxi's are on the side of the couch and I tried them on both bipole and dipole and dont hear too much of a difference. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you thought about switching the rti4's and the fxi3's? I don't own the fxi3's but I always thought that type of speaker was better suited to the back wall. I do have rti4's as surround where you have the fxi's and think they sound pretty good there. Just a thought.

Thanks for the help, I tried putting the fxi's in the back and the rti 4's on the side and it sounds a lot better. Thanks again.
