Also, one episode to watch for is the third one of the season, "Trial by Prejudice". It featured Susan Gailey as Rosie. Anyone who is familiar with Roman Polanski's notorious (and I mean notorious) sex scandal from 40 years ago will know that she is the mother of Samantha Geimer (nee Gailey).

They showed a clip from that episode in the HBO documentary Wanted and Desired.

Another thing I wonder (and I admit that for some, this might be beating a dead horse): will this new third-season release of Police Woman have CPT's Sunburst/Abstract Torch logo of the time on the episodes, or will it go the way of the second-season Police Story release and have a more modern Columbia logo?

More great news! Although this was a weak season (S4 was much better) I'm still getting it. Best episode this season was the one with John David Carson as a killer transvestite.

All guesswork at this time, but I'm thinking if they use old prints then they may have the old logos, but if these are remastered than it will most likely follow the more modern look of season 2. I know previous sales most likely had a lot to do with the decision to stall the releases, but like Police Story the potential lack of additional remastered seasons could have had just as much to do about it. My gut says this is a repeat of Police Story season 2 where they are just using whatever prints were available with no remastering performed in an effort to get what they can out of it before their licensing agreement expires.

I hope that's not the case. I have Seasons 3 and 4 from old Me-TV airings and they look like old 1980s syndicated prints, complete with abrupt edits. Is Police Story S2 uncut?

Hearing this news raises hope that The Rookies Season 3 may see the light of day in the future. I think this particular season contains the SWAT pilot episode.

I also want to see Police Story and Police Woman continue; whatever the condition of the prints.

I recorded most of season 3 and 4 whenever DECADES aired them, and I thought the picture looked remastered to me (sharp picture, colors that pop, and clean of debris), but they were heavily edited to make room for more commercial breaks.
