Pioneer 52TX problem... (1 Viewer)

I have a Pioneer 52TX. My problem is that it sounds great when I play a DVD (all speakers work) but when I watch TV I can only get sound out of the right front speaker. The other 4.1 just produce some humming. I have read the manual cover to cover twice with no luck diagnosing the problem. The best luck I have had is when I switch it to 7 ch. Stereo I get sound out of the right rear as well. Can anyone help???

Hiya Schnitz,

I assume you use digital( either coax or optical) connection from dvdp to avr and stereo rca from tv to avr, my bet is that one of your stereo rcas are gone, maybe you can interchange and see if it happens the other way round
