When I first heard Steve Martin was to play Clouseau, I thought "Huh?" I simply couldn't see him playing the part convincingly. And it clearly shows in the trailers. I'm glad I haven't seen the movie after reading all your opinions.

Personally, at the very least I would have preferred Geoffrey Rush as Clouseau. He played Sellers in "The Life and Death of Peter Sellers", and his rendition of Clouseau on the plane was extraordinary! I couldn't stop laughing!

Well I don't think it was as bad as all that...you bunch of sourpusses. I was entertained for 90 minutes, and much of the nearly-sold-out theater I was in seemed to enjoy it as well.


Yeah, I was waiting for that too. A shame they didn't use it one more time.

And who knew Viagra was flammable?

Saw this Saturday night.

Mixed bag indeed. Some stuff was pretty funny but alot of it really fell flat.

The audience we sat with really laughed throughout...so I was thinking are we just stick in the muds or what?!

Very average and a missed opportunity.
