Riddle me this batman...
I have an old CPU I am trying to connect to a new television. The only "video out" connection the CPU currently has is VGA. The TV doesn't have a VGA input but, being new, has both component video as well as DVI.
Soooooooo - my options as I see them:
1) Go to Radio shack and buy a VGA to Component Video converter. They cost about $94 I think. Plug that in between the two pieces of equipment.
2) Buy a new video card for the CPU. One that has either a DVI out or a Component Video out.
Question to the guru's - Are these the only options I have? And, if so, which would be the best way to go? Enquiring minds want to know!!
