Was aware of Offerman, shocked as hell to see he's only 40, way younger than all the friends on Friends, a full 12 years younger than wife Megan 'Tammy Swanson' Mullaly.

That mustache puts years on, without it [like on his IMDB page] he almost looks his age.

It's been quite a while since I last watched S2 of 24...when was he on and how did he fit into the story?

After the nuclear bomb detonated, he and two guys beat up an Arab dude that was working with Jack, stole the computer file that Bauer needed to prove the conspiracy and kidnapped Jack's kinda love interest. He looks real different without the moustache but his voice sounds the same.

Considering that the NBC promos department screwed up and had a promo for Andy and April's wedding at the end of one of the first episodes of the season, it wasn't a big surprise for me. But I really liked it. Ann's story line still isn't working for me, but everything else is firing on all cylinders. I like that the parties on this show are like real parties and not TV parties. I also like watching a show where pretty much everybody likes hanging out with one another. And I was absolutely dying on the cold open.

Ann's storyline is working for me because it has Ann's face. :D

It's kinda hilarious that even A Walk to Remember got a nod in this episode, when Leslie was grilling April about why she was getting married. Leslie asks if she's dying of an illness "like in that movie," and April says, "Yes, exactly like that." Andy goes, "Seriously?!?"

    "...No!"

Poor, desperate Ann. Pretty Ann. Beautiful Ann.

("That was the worst thing I've ever seen. Are you Nell? From the movie Nell?!?")

I liked Ann's storyline because I think she and Donna make a great team.

I gotta say that when the story started heading towards April and Andy marrying, I wondered what the hell the writers were thinking but they won me over. I guess it was Ron's speech to Leslie about how he waited and his weddings all ended in divorce.

Everybody being creeped out by April's tall Goth friend paid off perfectly when HE got creeped out by Rob Lowe's too-cheerful, chirpy optimism.

Adam Scott's reaction to the Goth kid -- "Wait, are you asking me, or telling me?!?" -- was amazing.

"...So, not only does this exist, but you deprived everyone of cake."

Funny when written; hilarious when performed.

Has anyone transcribed Andy's wedding song yet?

Had to be the funniest line in the episode. I laughed for a long time at that.

Not my favorite episode of the season by far, but there were still some great moments. April's creepy friend, the vegetable loaf, Donna's "Nell" line and Ron pulling out the tooth were all gold. Also, Tom's "there's a boys sale at Dillard's today" line had me on the floor.

If anyone I meet ever does not understand my love for this show, I'll just point them to this episode. It contains everything that's great about this series in about 22 minutes.

"...I'm just making sure nobody has to eat this."

" ‘Zerts' are what I call 'desserts.' 'Tray-trays' are 'entrees.' I call 'sandwiches' 'sammies,' 'sandoozles,' or 'Adam Sandlers.' 'Air conditioners' are 'cool-blasterz,' with a 'z.' I don’t know where that came from. I call 'cakes' 'big ol’ cookies.' I call 'noodles' 'long-ass rice.' 'Fried chicken' is 'fri-fri chicky-chick.' 'Chicken parm' is 'chicky-chicky parm-parm.' 'Chicken cacciatore'? 'Chicky-catch.' I call 'eggs' 'pre-birds,' or 'future birds.' 'Root beer' is 'super-water.' 'Tortillas' are 'bean-blankies.' And I call 'forks'...'food rakes'."

^ I liked when Tom used more of his short hand in conversation and they quickly cut back to the talking head interview to have him explain and then back to the scene.

Eventhough I've been a vegatarian for more than a decade, I still understand and share Ron's hatred of healthy food stores.

Absolutely! I laughed so hard during this episode I thought I might rupture something internally. So many great lines I couldn't even begin to list them all here....definitely an episode that should be submitted for Emmy consideration IMHO.

Ben: Were you melting marbles in this frying pan?
Andy: We were trying to see if the smoke alarm works.

    April: It doesn't.

Perd Hapley: How would you define pornography, Brandi?
Brandi Maxxx: When the penis goes in.

This show is firing on all cylinders right now. The idea of having Ben room with April and Andy was genius, since it allows little peeks into the insanity that is them without overdoing it.

Oh, dear. I love the Internet.

"Shut up!! And LOOK at me!!"

That speech was everything I've ever wanted to hear at a horribly-boring city-sponsored event. Swanson '12 -- I don't care where, but goddammit, we have to elect this man to SOMETHING.

I wonder if it was an intentional choice to reflect Leslie finding her inner sexual-mojo through the painting, and if so, it was genius, but she seemed way more attractive and sexy than she typically does.

Amy Poehler, of course, is at least somewhat attractive by most peoples' standards, I would think, but Leslie Knope is supposed to be somewhat schlumpfy and dorky, and doesn't make the best fashion choices.

I'm sure everyone noticed that different thing they did with her hair? She looked hot. Long term, it's kind of a weird choice for the character if they keep doing it, like making Michael Scott sexy, or something. Or, have we come so far from the initial "Michael Scott"-esque conception of the character that that's just been forgotten?
