Panasonic DVD-CV51 (1 Viewer)

Does any one here have this dvd player? It is a new 5 disc carousel, non-progressive (i.e. only 480i) player, that also does MP3 playback, and can read cd-r, cd-rw, etc.

This player is ideal for my sister, however we can't find any ANYWHERE locally. It's listed on a FEW online sites, but that's it.

Why is it so hard to find? Why aren't any stores stocking it?

Anyway, if you have one, what do you think of it? If we order online, we'd like to be a little more sure of the quality, etc., since returns via mail order are a little bit of a hassle. Thanks!

I have one.. I like it alot.. lays MP3's flawlessly..
Have had no problems with DVDs or audio cd's either.
www.etronics.com has it for $205.00 that's where I
got mine at.

I have one and it works well. No problem finding it. I bought one in June 2001.

Joe: Target, huh? Wow... where do you live? I'll have to check my local Target now. Their selection of DVD players is usually pretty weak. It was really a Target? Not Wallmart? Cool...
