Panasonic CT 32HX40 (1 Viewer)

I have the opportunity to get a free Panasonic CT 32HX40 (contest at work). I have read good reviews (ie. Home Theater mag-june 01) but I also read that the TV had some geometry issues. I know that Panasonic came out with the 32HX41 without geo problems but it is not an option for me.
Any advices would be appreciated.

The 32HX41 also has geometry problems. Go to www.audioreview.com and read the reviews for both the 32HX41 and 36HX41 and you'll see that Panasonic hasn't solved the geometry problem on its TV's. I think that this can be corrected by a technician under warranty.
I compared the Panasonic 32HX41 to the 32 Sony Wega XBR and thought that the Panasonic had a much better picture. Hopefully your set will not have any geometry problems but if it does try to get it fixed - the picture quality is really good.
