Optical audio cable vs. Coaxial? (1 Viewer)

I have the option of using either one on my DVD player (Denon DVD 900) but don't know which one is actually better. Most people prefer Optical and some love coaxial, does anyone know the pro and con of these connections?

Coax gets my vote. Less fragile than optical, and definately cheaper if you need a really long run of it. As far as quality, you won't hear a difference.
