Is anyone else reading, or listening to, Oliver Stone's new memoir Chasing the Light? He delivers thoughtful and yet often raw narratives and analysis of himself and his early movies, including extended thoughts on Midnight Express, The Hand, Scarface, Salvador, and Platoon. The audiobook is narrated by Stone himself, and he reads it well. Here's a link to a positive review of it from the New York Times:
Oliver Stone’s Reel History (Published 2020)
In “Chasing the Light,” the Oscar-winning director and screenwriter has finally found a historical figure he can portray with all the bias he desires: himself.
