I was wondering about this subject for a long time too.
Personally, I like Digipaks. I really love my Starsky and Hutch digipaks and I watch those sets a lot and often enjoy looking at them while I'm waiting for the fbi warning and logos to end and the menu to come up.
Slimcases are great but they just seem a bit cheap to me.
They do help keep the price down which is great, but man I would've loved to have Mork & Mindy and Happy Days in Digipaks with a booklet since the dvds were already so bare bones with no extras.
The best Digipaks in my opinion are the Transformers and GI Joe season sets which have flaps to keep the booklet and cels from falling out.
The only problem I have with them is the wear and tear they get from folding and unfolding them.
