newbie question:JBL e30,e80,ec35 placement? (1 Viewer)

I have a dayton sub, 1 pair of jbl e30, pair of e80 and center ec35. my couch is about 1-2 foot away from the back wall. how should i place them? e80 in front or back?

Definitely put the E80s up front as your mains (the bulk of sound in multichannel listening and all in stero). Put the E30s in the back as your surrounds. Put them behind the couch but not too close to the back wall. I've had the best luck with the surrounds angled at about 45 degrees in (not pointed directly at each other or pointed directly towards the front of the room). The EC35 should obviously be used as your center channel.
