What the heck is this set? It looks identical feature by feature to the KV-34XBR800 yet this has a different number. Why? Is this a newer model? Everything about it looks the same...

Yes, Aaron, it's a new model (which you're discussing in another thread, buddy!). But there's an XBR direct-view, 34-inch widescreen Sony (XBR910) still carrying the torch.
